SAN DIEGO COMIC CON 2010

The San Diego Comic Con International is back and runs Thursday, July 22 to Sunday, July 25 (with a preview night on Wednesday, July 21st).

I'll be there all week, mostly at the Famous Monsters of Filmland booth, continuing from the fabulous Famous Monsters Convention that just happened a short two weeks ago in Indianapolis, Indiana!

On Thursday, July 22, I'll be at the Shout!Factory booth at 2pm with writer-director Larry Blamire, artist-actor Frank Dietz, and other cast members (don't know who will be there as I write this) signing DVDs of Blamire's new mystery-comedy thriller Dark and Stormy Night and The Lost Skeleton Returns Again. If you want to catch fellow Dark and Stormy Night cast member Jim Beaver, he'll be doing a Supernatural panel on Sunday morning, so be sure to catch him there!

On Friday at 5:30pm I'll be moderating a panel about the all-new and improved Famous Monsters of Filmland Magazine! The panelists include publisher Philip Kim, Editor-In-Chief Michael Heisler, Editor Jessie Lilley, and special guests Bela Lugosi Jr and FM cover artist William Stout! As a regular contributing writer to the newly re-launched (and beloved) magazine, the sure to be lively panel discussion I'm moderating will cover the re-birth of the magazine, and the incredible plans the future holds for the brand!

Otherwise, please stop by the Famous Monsters booth and say hello and get your copy of Famous Monsters #251 before it hits bookstores and news stands in early August!

The link to Comic Con, the biggest show of its kind in the country, is HERE!

Comic Con hosts the widest array of artists, publishers, filmmakers, and celebrities in movies, TV and in comic books and graphic novels that there's sure to be something for everyone! So come on by and spend the day or the week, but if it's your first time attending, wear your most comfortable walking shoes--you'll thank me later!
